The Story

Aluminized heat shielding sleeve is extremely pliable to give you a secure tight wrap to protect Wires, cables, lines, fittings terminals and more from high temperatures. The Velcro (Hook and loop) closure makes it easy to install without removing hoses or wires.  Cut to length to provide burn protection and heat reduction or saturation.

  • ¾-1” i.d. when closed
  • 4” wide
  • 10 feet long

Continuous use temperature around 260–500 °F / ~127–260 °C

Intermittent or radiant heat resistance 600–1100 °F / ~315–593 °C

Practical Advice

  • This type of sleeve is great for wrapping hoses, wiring harnesses, and small pipes near hot components.
  • It isn’t typically meant for direct contact with exhaust pipes or manifolds, where you would instead use a heat wrap designed for direct contact radiant load like our header wrap or a rigid shield with a specified 1100 °F+ rating like our Stainless Steel heat shield
